Alan Burrows is a comics artist whose work includes Eagle, Red Dwarf and painted covers for the science-fiction anthology 100% Biodegradable. His career spans magazine strips and independent comics, with work in both sequential drawing and cover illustration.
He co-created Death Duty with writer John Freeman for the proposed WarWorldz project in the 1990s and drew its original sample pages. When the series was revived in 2014, his early episode was published alongside a continuation developed by Freeman and Dave Hailwood, with art by Brett Burbridge.
