Simon Fleury is a photographer whose work appeared on i-D covers during the early 1990s. His collaborations with stylist Edward Enninful included Cecilia Chancellor for the October 1992 New Season Issue, Holly Davis for the following month’s Sexuality Issue and Monie Love for the February 1993 Survival Issue.
These images formed part of i-D’s developing visual identity under its young fashion director. The magazine later selected all three for a retrospective of Enninful’s 1990s covers, giving Fleury’s photographs a continuing place in the publication’s account of its own history.
