Inez van Lamsweerde is a Dutch artist and photographer, born in Amsterdam in 1963. She works with Vinoodh Matadin as Inez & Vinoodh, combining fashion photography and artistic projects. Their early experiments with digital manipulation questioned bodily appearance, gender and the apparent truth of photographic images.
Their work appeared in The Face and developed through collaborations with designers including Viktor & Rolf. Together they have made campaigns for Dior, Gucci, Louis Vuitton and Chanel, alongside portraits of musicians and other public figures. Kunstmuseum Den Haag presented their retrospective Can Love Be a Photograph in 2026.
