Person.
David Titlow is a photographer whose work spans fashion, advertising and portraiture. Originally a musician from Halesworth in Suffolk, he moved into photography in the early 1990s. His editorial commissions include VICE, Vanity Fair, The Guardian and The Sunday Telegraph.
In 2014, he won the National Portrait Gallery’s Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize for Konrad Lars Hastings Titlow. Taken after a midsummer gathering in Sweden, the photograph shows his infant son being introduced to a dog, combining an informal family encounter with carefully observed light and composition.
