Ben Rayner

Ben Rayner is a photographer and director who grew up in London and began shooting musicians and artists for Dazed & Confused and VICE at nineteen. His work subsequently expanded into fashion, portraiture and lifestyle photography, with editorial commissions for titles including Vogue, Nylon and Wonderland.

Rayner's photographs often seek the ease and closeness of a personal diary, even within a commissioned shoot. His subjects have included A$AP Rocky, Greta Gerwig, Haim and Alexa Chung, and he has made commercial work for Nike, Adidas, Apple and Converse. His independent publishing includes zines and the books Power Ballads, (UN)FAMILIAR and Karaoke Photographs.
