Catalogue note
VICE Vol. 14 No. 4, June 2016, a UK physical edition whose cover shows clothing hung across the razor-wire perimeter of the Moria refugee camp on Lesbos. VICE’s own contemporary material identifies Elliot Ross as the photographer and describes the global June package as the Borders Issue. The supplied contents page shows an issue structured around migration, borders, nationalism, conflict and displacement, including “Migrant Hell”, Ross’s “At the Gate”, “Nationalist Interest”, Michael Taussig on Kobani and Clancy Martin fiction. The physical UK numbering is preserved independently from VICE’s global/web Volume 23 Issue 4 tag.
