Catalogue note

Original Club Kinetic flyer for a BPM-branded 'Television Programme' event at The Leisurebowl, Longton, on Friday 3 September, attributed at high confidence to 1993. The line-up includes Pilgrim, Brisk, DJ SS, Grooverider, Dave Angel and others, with a live PA by Essence of Aura. The flyer also preserves admission, membership, coach travel, security information and the venue map.

Advertised programme: Pilgrim; Brisk; DJ SS; MC Magika; Grooverider; Dave Angel; EXL & Bones; live P.A. 'Essence of Aura'. Additional right-hand billing under 'ripe': Daba, Ryan Petit and Gareth Heal.

Graphic-design significance: Highly distinctive late-1990s-style broadcast graphic language appears unusually early in a rave-flyer context: oversized italic BPM lettering, red/yellow/blue geometric forms, a pale blue field with fine radiating linework, bold admission panel and modular programme boxes. The television-programme branding gives the object a different visual and documentary function from Kinetic's monthly programme flyers.

Historical context: TMR now preserves multiple Club Kinetic programmes across 1993, including January–February, February–March, April at Wellington and December at Longton. This event sits in early September 1993 and adds a different layer to that sequence: not a monthly programme but a one-night BPM-branded media event at the Leisurebowl. Specialist sources independently document Club Kinetic at the Leisurebowl and later BPM/Kinetic material, but the exact television broadcaster, episode title and transmission date remain unresolved.

Production note: Full-colour commercial print on coated paper/card stock; exact process and stock weight not established.

Condition note: Very Good appearance, ungraded. Light edge/corner handling and minor surface wear. Several small pin/staple-type holes are visible near the lower edge and at the right margin. Strong colour, clean typography and complete legibility; no major tears or paper loss visible.

Confidence / uncertainty: The flyer physically verifies Friday 3 September, Leisurebowl venue, hours, admission, performer names, membership application, coach information and BPM Television Programme branding. The year 1993 is high-confidence rather than printed. No claim is made that the event was necessarily broadcast live or nationally; 'Television Programme' is preserved exactly as promotional wording. Dave Angel, MC Magika, EXL & Bones, Essence of Aura, Daba, Ryan Petit and Gareth Heal remain printed credits without new authority linkage unless independently resolved.
