Terry Richardson

Terry Richardson is an American photographer, born in 1965, whose work has appeared in fashion and culture magazines including Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Purple and Vice. His photographs bring celebrity portraiture and fashion into contact with explicitly sexual imagery and the visual conventions of snapshots.

His book Terryworld collects fashion, portrait and personal photographs, including self-portraits. Richardson's work was included in the International Center of Photography's exhibition Weird Beauty: Fashion Photography Now in 2009. The museum also holds examples of his Harper's Bazaar work in its archive.
