Sheryl Garratt

Sheryl Garratt is a British writer and editor whose journalism has followed music, club culture and fashion. She began writing for NME while still at school in Birmingham, continued while studying English at University College London, and became music and clubs editor at City Limits.

She joined The Face in 1987 and edited it from 1989 to 1995, during the rise of acid house and a new generation of fashion photography. She later edited Observer Life and wrote Adventures in Wonderland (1999), a history of house music and rave culture.
