Why this object matters
The original second Year One chapter is an integral part of the landmark work, not a marginal companion to its first issue. Preserved with all four first printings, its narrative and visual evidence supports Gold at 9.3 while retaining the outstanding interior-verification qualification.
Evidence limits: No new physical inspection or collation was performed. Copy-specific conclusions remain limited to the retained catalogue and accession evidence.
Score and assessment method
Archive Importance: 9.3 / 10 · Gold Star.
This is a curatorial judgement, not a measurement accurate to one tenth or a market valuation. Read the explanation and its evidence limits together.
