Catalogue note
NGC 25th Anniversary Set pedigree gives this otherwise common modern Silver Eagle meaningful provenance context.
Condition: Coin presents very strongly for MS69 with bright satin/burnished surfaces and strong detail. No obvious milk spotting, heavy toning, fingerprints or distracting marks visible in supplied photographs. Some rim colour appears consistent with photographic/light reflection and is not catalogued as toning without better evidence. Slab has light normal external handling/scuffing with no obvious structural damage.
Completeness: Coin retained in NGC slab. Original U.S. Mint five-coin presentation case, COA, capsules and companion slabs are unknown.
Mintage / issue limit: 25th Anniversary five-coin set: official maximum 100,000 sets; reported final set sales/mintage 99,882. The 2011-W burnished coin had a larger total 2011 mintage because it was also sold separately.
Rarity / replaceability: Not rare in absolute terms and MS69 is common for modern Silver Eagles, but the sealed-box-derived 25th Anniversary Set pedigree gives genuine provenance significance.
Public provenance: NGC 25th Anniversary Set pedigree.
Authentication: Physical holder and label appear visually consistent with NGC certification. Exact certification-number lookup was not independently completed; online verification pending.
Uncertainties: Exact NGC holder-generation classification remains provisional. | Exact NGC MS69-only census population not reliably exposed in research. | Do not misstate 99,882 as the total mintage of all 2011-W burnished Silver Eagles. | Original Mint case/COA/companion slabs unknown. | Online certification-number verification pending.
Legacy record ID: Record #001
