Catalogue note
Original Cover A first printing of the July 2024 X-Men relaunch that opened the principal adjectiveless title of Marvel's post-Krakoa “From the Ashes” publishing era. Marvel described From the Ashes as a fresh start and its preceding Infinity Comic as a bridge leading directly into this issue, where Cyclops establishes a new Alaska-based team. The reverse carries a contemporary Marvel Animation X-Men '97 soundtrack / Disney+ advertisement, preserving an unusually neat physical connection between the franchise's 2024 print-comics relaunch and its simultaneous animated-media revival. The Collect Forever label describes a “debut of the Factory”; TMR does not treat that as the literal first appearance of the location because earlier publication evidence places the Orchis Sentinel factory in Avengers #12 before X-Men #1.

Why this object matters
The MacKay/Stegman From the Ashes launch has strong post-Krakoa publishing significance, reinforced by its contemporary X-Men ’97 advertisement. The Factory is not credited here as a literal first appearance. These concrete connections support 8.2 without near-Gold inflation.
Evidence limits: The comic remains enclosed in its Collect Forever Soft Slab. No separate issued premium or supplement is evidenced by the supplied photographs or research; interior pagination, binding and the physically printed bonus-digital-edition details have not been collated.
