Catalogue note
Original Bush Doctor Promotions flyer for Jungle Mania VI: Equilibrium, held at The Sanctuary Music Arena in Milton Keynes on 15 June 1996. The flyer documents a large two-arena jungle/drum-and-bass bill spanning established scene figures and a special guest appearance by LTJ Bukem with MC Conrad. Its hand-rendered front artwork and information-heavy reverse make it a strong surviving document of the mature mid-1990s Jungle Mania promotion and Sanctuary rave circuit.
Advertised programme: Two arenas. DJs include Micky Finn, Bush Doctor, Brockie, Bryan G, Ron, Roni Size, Top Buzz, Randall, Kenny Ken, Donovan Bad Boy Smith, Nicky Blackmarket, SS, Bad Boy T & Principal, L Double, Dazee, Shock C, Gappa G, Easy D, XTC, EFX, DJ Kid, DJ Wylee and Melvin D. MCs include GQ, Juiceman, MC Five Alive, MC Bassman, Debo General, MC MC, Firing Squad (with Fluxy & Winner), Warren G, MC Hooligan, MC Loui and DJ Walker. Special guest: LTJ Bukem & MC Conrad.
Graphic-design significance: Highly illustrative mid-1990s rave graphic combining hand-drawn lion/Sanctuary imagery, oversized psychedelic display typography and dense reverse-side event information.
Historical context: By 1996 jungle and drum & bass had developed into a mature UK club culture with specialist promoters, labels, artists and large all-night events. This flyer captures Bush Doctor's Jungle Mania series operating at The Sanctuary in Milton Keynes with a roster including Roni Size, LTJ Bukem, Micky Finn, Brockie, Bryan G, Randall, Kenny Ken and other important figures. The physical object also records the distribution infrastructure around the scene through its extensive network of regional record shops, ticket outlets and agents.
Condition note: Light handling and surface wear, minor edge/corner wear and small marks consistent with age and circulation. No major losses visible in the supplied photographs. Strong colour and broadly clean presentation.

Why this object matters
Equilibrium extends the Bush Doctor sequence into 1996 with a distinctive visual treatment and explicit two-arena programme. That outstanding comparative role is clear, but continuation of an important promoter's history does not give every later flyer the significance of its launch or manifesto.
Evidence limits: No new physical inspection or collation was performed. Copy-specific conclusions remain limited to the retained catalogue and accession evidence.
