Catalogue note

Original September 1993 Living Dream flyer for Saturday nights at The New London Astoria. The reverse advertises two Pure Happy Hardcore programmes: 18 September with Fabio, Squirrell, Flex, DMS and Ray Keith; and 25 September with Grooverider, Dr S Gachet, Ray Keith, Squirrell and Torchman, with MC MC and Boneman X. Its vivid green programme side and surreal cropped-hand front make it a strong example of 1993 rave visual culture.

Advertised programme: 18 September: Fabio, Squirrell, Flex, DMS, Ray Keith, MC MC, Boneman X. 25 September: Grooverider, Dr S Gachet, Ray Keith, Squirrell, Torchman, MC MC, Boneman X. Dean Lambert and Dave Webster also credited 'in control'.

Graphic-design significance: Striking two-sided design: a sparse green/yellow photographic front dominated by a cropped hand motif and vertically set Living Dream title; reverse uses fluorescent acid green, mixed serif/display typography and smiley motifs. A small cartoon figure appears on the front, but no defensible artist/designer signature or credit is visible or established.

Historical context: The Living Dream was an established London rave promoter by the early 1990s. Independent biographical sources describe Living Dream as a major London event associated with Randall's breakthrough and document the promoter within the formative hardcore/jungle circuit. This flyer records a later September 1993 New London Astoria weekly programme.

Production note: Full-colour commercial print on coated stock; exact process and stock not established.

Condition note: Very Good appearance, ungraded. Light handling/edge wear; small puncture/staple-type holes visible near upper-left and lower margins; strong colour and full legibility.

Confidence / uncertainty: Dates, venue, hours and line-ups are physically evidenced. Exact designer/artist remains unknown after active review; no attribution invented.
