Catalogue note

A striking two-sided promotional flyer for Raverhill, an Extreme Vinyl-presented drum-and-bass night at Rush Nightclub, Haverhill. Its nationally connected advertised bill includes Phantasy (Easy Records) and Logan D (Kool FM), alongside local or less securely identifiable DJs and MCs. The layered, heavily typographic design evokes turntables, records and club sound systems; the reverse preserves a detailed view of admission prices, door policy and the practical geography of provincial rave nightlife. Friday 30 January is printed, but the year is not and remains unresolved.

Advertised programme: DJs: Phantasy (Easy Records); Surreal (Dusk Till Dawn); Logan D (Kool FM); Deetox; Double T; Viper; Badboy G. MCs: Motormouth; Cabbie; Audio C.

Graphic-design significance: Graphic front dominated by oversized extruded blue and red letterforms, industrial/turntable imagery, monochrome photography and yellow stylised display lettering; reverse is a functional multi-panel bill, admission and venue-information layout. Designer is uncredited.

Historical context: The flyer advertises DJ Phantasy with Easy Records and Logan D with Kool FM. It preserves venue access rules (over-18s, clubwear, no caps/hoods, ID checks and 1.30am last entry), differential door pricing, a mobile information line and distances from nearby towns. Haverhill Town Council minutes independently establish Rush Nightclub as operating in 2003, without verifying the flyer year.

Production note: Colour printed; exact printing process and paper stock not verified.

Condition note: Good to very good from photographs: paper appears flat and intact, with bright colour and legible text; isolated surface marks and slight edge/corner handling visible. No conspicuous folds, tears, pinholes, adhesive or paper loss visible in supplied views. Not described as mint.

Confidence / uncertainty: The physical item verifies event name, day/month, venue/address, presenter, advertised artists, admission and door policy. Year is absent; exact event date/year, event occurrence, design attribution, format dimensions and printing particulars remain unresolved.
