Funhouse Promotions · Milwaukees, Souldrop · four Friday all-nighters · May 1992
1–22 May (year not printed; specialist-supported 1992) · four consecutive Fridays · 9pm–6am · ★ Gold Star object
A four-Friday Equinox 2 programme for Milwaukees, issued by Funhouse Promotions for a May programme attributed with high confidence to 1992. The reverse announces that, following the success of Equinox 1, four further all-nighters were being launched at the rural A6 venue, with programmes spanning LTJ Bukem, Swan-E, Slipmatt, Dougal, Ratty, DJ Rap, Seduction, Jumping Jack Frost, Grooverider, Mr C, Phantasy, DJ Hype, Kenny Ken, Ellis Dee and Fabio. The object captures Equinox at the moment it was establishing itself as a recurring licensed rave programme and preserves the weekly club infrastructure from which early hardcore and the emerging jungle network overlapped.

Catalogue note
A four-Friday Equinox 2 programme for Milwaukees, issued by Funhouse Promotions for a May programme attributed with high confidence to 1992. The object captures Equinox at the moment it was establishing itself as a recurring licensed rave programme and preserves the weekly club infrastructure from which early hardcore and the emerging jungle network overlapped.
Advertised programme: Fri 1 May: Dove, Sam, LTJ Bukem, Swan'E, Slipmatt, The Godfather, Parks & Wilson. Fri 8 May: Dougal, Ratty, SS, DJ Rap, Seduction, Frankie Shag Bones, Jumping Jack Frost. Fri 15 May: Hardcore Massive, Dougal, Swan-E, DJ Lime, Krome, Mr C, Groove Rider. Fri 22 May: Pig Bag, Gemini, Phantasy, DJ Hype, Kenny Ken, Ellis Dee, Fabio.
Graphic-design significance: The front uses a dense surreal collage of science-fiction, organic and psychedelic imagery around a bold angled EQUINOX 2 title, while the reverse converts the programme into a strongly geometric field of shaded spheres and oversized FUNHOUSE typography. No designer or illustrator credit is established, so the design is described but not attributed.
Historical context: Specialist rave-history documentation places the launch of Equinox at Milwaukees on 3 April 1992 after earlier ESP and Helter Skelter activity at the venue. This object is explicitly branded EQUINOX 2 and states that, following the success of Equinox 1, Fun House Promotions was launching four more all-nighters. Specialist surviving-set references identify Equinox/Milwaukees on 1 May and 22 May 1992, matching the printed May programme and supporting the year attribution.
Production note: Full-colour illustrated front; monochrome programme reverse; exact printing method and stock not established.
Condition note: Very Good to Excellent-range appearance, ungraded. Sheet appears clean and flat with light edge/corner handling and small surface marks; strong colour and excellent legibility. No major tears, paper loss or fold lines are visible in the supplied photographs.
Confidence / uncertainty: The year 1992 is not visibly printed on the supplied flyer. It is retained as a high-confidence provisional attribution from the Friday/date sequence plus specialist exact-date Equinox/Milwaukees documentation. Exact identities behind ambiguous printed credits such as Dove, Sam, The Godfather, Hardcore Massive, DJ Lime, Krome, Mr C, Gemini, Pig Bag and Frankie Shag Bones are not silently resolved into permanent People authorities.
