Pallosalama / Åskbollen / Thunderball
UIP Mainospalvelu No. 214 · Finnish/Swedish theatrical advertising sheet · later reissue publicity · four associated publicity stills
Finnish exhibitor-facing publicity for Thunderball, issued under the local title Pallosalama and Swedish title Åskbollen. The UIP Mainospalvelu sheet carries bilingual promotional copy, technical booking data and a suite of reproduction-ready newspaper advertising blocks in several sizes. Crucially, it preserves the original Finnish censorship number 73263 and 3650-metre length from December 1965 while bearing a distributor imprint that postdates the film's first Finnish release. It therefore documents Thunderball's later theatrical circulation in Finland rather than the 1965 first-run campaign. Four associated publicity photographs are preserved with the sheet as an archival group, but their individual printing dates and original relationship to the sheet remain unverified.

- Condition
- Very Good+ overall, ungraded. The advertising sheet appears clean, bright and substantially flat with light edge/corner handling and minor age/storage traces. Why this object matters
The bilingual exhibitor sheet, advertising blocks and booking data document later Finnish circulation of Thunderball. Together with the associated stills it is outstanding distribution evidence; the UIP imprint precludes a first-run claim and the group is not promoted to a complete press kit.
Evidence limits: No new physical inspection or collation was performed. Copy-specific conclusions remain limited to the retained catalogue and accession evidence.
