Catalogue note

Double-sided New Year's Eve flyer jointly branded by Elevation and Ravealation for The Ravedome on Southall Lane, Hounslow, taking the hardcore scene into 1994. The reverse announces an £18, 8:30pm–6am event at the 60,000-square-foot venue, with a bill including Jumping Jack Frost, Slipmatt, Swan-E, DJ Rap, Simon Bassline Smith, Devious D and others. The front is unusually self-referential, reproducing earlier Elevation and Ravealation flyer designs around the central “1994 Elevation” graphic, creating a miniature visual retrospective of the promoters' recent event history.

Advertised programme: Physical design credit printed at lower edge: “CRAIG/E-MACS 0860 685581”. Preserved as printed; no further personal identity inferred. Ravealation is proposed as a new organisation authority.

Historical context: Specialist chronology records Ravealation's first event at The Rave Dome in Hounslow on 3 July 1993 and a New Years Eve Party there on 31 December 1993, noting that during 1993/94 Ravealation aligned itself with promoters including Elevation. The flyer itself presents the collaboration and frames the event as a New Year's Eve transition into 1994. It describes The Ravedome as a new 60,000-square-foot licensed venue. TMR already preserves the earlier July 1993 Ravealation launch flyer as TMR-000578 and a later Elevation/Reincarnation event as TMR-000666.

Condition note: Visible handling and surface wear, light edge/corner wear and creasing; printed information and colour remain strong and legible. Assessment is limited to the two supplied photographs.

Event details are drawn from the held object and the qualified catalogue research above. A printed bill establishes an advertised booking, not confirmation that a performer appeared.

Why this object matters

The reproduced earlier designs turn the New Year collaboration into a contemporary visual history of the two promoters. Retain threshold Gold for that self-documentation and its relation to the Ravealation launch, rather than the holiday date or roster. It remains below the Sanctuary's wider venue-authored network record.

Evidence limits: No new physical inspection or collation was performed. Copy-specific conclusions remain limited to the retained catalogue and accession evidence.
