Catalogue note

Original double-sided Beyond Therapy flyer for “In Full Effect” at The Academy Theatre, Brixton, Friday 29 November 1991, 10pm–7am. The signed PEZ ©91 front presents surreal cosmic imagery of floating babies and planets. The reverse advertises live appearances by K-Klass, Altern 8 and New Class “A”, with Fabio, Grooverider, Kenny Ken, Paul “Trouble” Anderson, Mickey Finn, Colin Dale, Andy “C” Carroll and others. It also documents a 40K JBL sound system, 20 professional dancers, advanced staging, £18 tickets and a wide national ticket network.

Advertised programme: Live: K-Klass; Altern 8; New Class “A”. DJs / performers: Fabio; Grooverider; Kenny Ken; Paul “Trouble” Anderson; Mickey Finn; Colin Dale; Andy “C” Carroll; Richie Fingers; Frankie “Shag” Bones; M.C.G.Q.

Graphic-design significance: Signed PEZ ©91 artwork uses floating babies, planetary forms and surreal cosmic imagery, characteristic of the fantastical visual culture associated with early rave flyers.

Historical context: The reverse advertises a 40K JBL sound system, 20 professional dancers, levelled multi-platform staging and £18 advance admission, alongside a large national outlet network. It also credits Entec Sound & Light and Laser Magic.

Condition note: Strong colour and excellent overall legibility. Visible historic folding includes prominent vertical and horizontal creases; there is light edge/corner wear, scattered small surface marks and minor local creasing. No major printed information loss is apparent.

Confidence / uncertainty: Exact event/date/venue and line-up are physically verified. PEZ authorship is both visibly signed on the artwork and independently corroborated by Radiokillaz. No dimensions are inferred.
