March 2004 issue of Dazed & Confused built around “Heroines of Chic”, a fashion-history cover package framing Chanel, Schiaparelli, Westwood, Grès and Vionnet as a century-spanning lineage of influential female design. Diana Dondoe appears on the cover photographed by Eric Nehr and styled by Cathy Edwards. Inside, the unusually broad S/S 2004 “Women on the Verge” portfolio uses musicians, actors, designers and other women as fashion subjects and includes a photograph by Sofia Coppola, while the wider issue ranges across Daidō Moriyama, Peter Kennard and Takeshi Kitano.
