Catalogue note

Judge Dredd: The Megazine Volume 1 No. 18, March 1992, conceived as a fifteenth-anniversary celebration of Judge Dredd’s first appearance in 2000 AD on 5 March 1977. Its striking XV cover is built from Dredd imagery representing fifteen years of changing artistic interpretations, while the Roll Call attempts to name the 77 artists who had drawn, inked or coloured Dredd since 1977. The issue combines anniversary reflection with contemporary strips including a complete Carlos Ezquerra Dredd story, Brit-Cit Babes, Middenface McNulty, Strange Cases and Heavy Metal Dredd. It also sits immediately before the final two monthly issues and the move to fortnightly Volume 2.
