Catalogue note

Fleetway Editions’ Judge Dredd: The Megazine Vol. 2 #16, dated 28 November–11 December 1992. The issue launches “Blood on the Bib,” the second Al’s Baby serial by John Wagner and Carlos Ezquerra, while continuing Mechanismo, Judge Hershey’s first solo serial “Deathsquads,” and Armitage’s “Influential Circles.” Ezquerra supplies the Al’s Baby cover, and specialist cataloguing identifies an integral Dean Ormston Judge Dredd poster on the rear cover. The issue strengthens TMR’s growing original Vol. 2 Megazine sequence while preserving a significant early-1990s Fleetway anthology state.

Writer: John Wagner; Peter Cornwall; Dave Stone

Artist: Carlos Ezquerra; Colin MacNeil; Yan Shimony; Charlie Adlard; Dean Ormston

Cover: Carlos Ezquerra

Edition: Original 1992 first-release issue

Why this object matters

The Blood on the Bib opening, Ezquerra cover and integral Ormston rear poster make this a strong multi-artist anthology object. Its relationship to the now extensive held run is useful, but not sufficiently exceptional for 8.8. The rear poster is integral, not a missing detachable gift.

Evidence limits: No new physical inspection or collation was performed. Copy-specific conclusions remain limited to the retained catalogue and accession evidence.
