Catalogue note

The second issue of the original monthly Judge Dredd: The Megazine run, cover-dated November 1990 and sold from 20 October. It continues every major strand established by the launch issue, including John Wagner and Colin MacNeil’s “America” with Part 2, Young Death, Chopper and Midnite’s Children. The Roll Call page is unusually useful documentary evidence because it explicitly explains where each strip sits within Dredd continuity and the fictional timeline. The rear cover adds a strong cross-media layer through a Virgin Games Judge Dredd “I AM THE LAW” computer-game advertisement across Amiga, Atari ST, Amstrad, Spectrum and Commodore 64 formats.

Artist: Jim Baikie · John McCrea · Peter Doherty · Colin MacNeil · Cam Kennedy
