The issue captures Culture Club at the precise moment of their UK breakthrough, alongside an unusually early Wham! The rear cover preserves a contemporary Grace Jones 'Living My Life' advertisement.
Why this object matters
The Culture Club breakthrough and early Wham feature capture changing pop identity at a specific 1982 moment, alongside Westwood and Linard. The original issue warrants Gold at 9.0 for this unusually concentrated music/style evidence.
