Nick Logan is a British editor and publisher who edited New Musical Express before creating Smash Hits and founding The Face in 1980. His magazines connected music journalism with photography, fashion and the changing interests of young readers.

At The Face, Logan gave photographers, writers and designers space to develop distinctive work within a magazine that ranged beyond music. He later launched Arena through his publishing company Wagadon. In interviews, Logan has described the practical work behind these titles: finding contributors, balancing photography and writing, and establishing an independent publication's readership and finances.
